IFRS Specialist

Chennai | Full time | Onsite

 Qualification Required

  • ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and global accounting frameworks.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in financial reporting, audit, or advisory roles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to simplify complex accounting concepts for non-finance audiences.

 Roles and Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Ensure timely adoption of new IFRS standards and amendments.
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on the organization.

Advisory & Interpretation

  • Provide technical guidance on complex accounting issues (e.g., revenue recognition, leases, financial instruments).
  • Support management in structuring transactions to align with IFRS requirements.
  • Liaise with auditors and regulators to resolve IFRS-related queries.

Policy Development

  • Draft and update accounting policies and manuals consistent with IFRS.
  • Conduct training sessions for finance teams on IFRS updates and applications.

Analysis & Benchmarking

  • Perform impact assessments of IFRS changes on financial performance and disclosures.

  • Benchmark reporting practices against industry peers to ensure competitiveness.

 Work Timings
 
  • Monday to Friday: 10 am to 7 pm
  • Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm
