IFRS Specialist
Chennai | Full time | Onsite
Qualification Required
- ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and global accounting frameworks.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in financial reporting, audit, or advisory roles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to simplify complex accounting concepts for non-finance audiences.
Roles and Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Ensure timely adoption of new IFRS standards and amendments.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on the organization.
Advisory & Interpretation
- Provide technical guidance on complex accounting issues (e.g., revenue recognition, leases, financial instruments).
- Support management in structuring transactions to align with IFRS requirements.
- Liaise with auditors and regulators to resolve IFRS-related queries.
Policy Development
- Draft and update accounting policies and manuals consistent with IFRS.
- Conduct training sessions for finance teams on IFRS updates and applications.
Analysis & Benchmarking

Perform impact assessments of IFRS changes on financial performance and disclosures.

Benchmark reporting practices against industry peers to ensure competitiveness.
Work Timings
- Monday to Friday: 10 am to 7 pm
- Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm
